In the hospital

Well, unfortunately my blood pressure has gone up and we were sent to the hospital. I came in Monday at 1:30, and I am still here. Gabriel is fine, we are having an ultasound later to double check. The doctor is starting me on blood pressure meds and if my numbers are controled by that then I get to go home tonight or tommorrow. Hopefully tonight. I miss the kids and I am bored silly. Johns mom is watching the kids so he can spend time with me, so that is nice. I think he gets bored sitting with me though, hehe. I am 32 weeks 5 days, so if we can just keep him in for 3 more weeks I will be happy.

ETA: That Wednesday we had what is called a biophysical ultrasound. They measure the fluid around baby, see how well he is moving, measure tone and body mass to make sure he is growing correctly and check all his vitals like heart and kidneys, etc. When we had ours done, not only was there very low amniotic fluid around him, but he had no movements in the 30 minutes time allowance. So...that and the fact that his heart rate kept dipping down when I would lay a certain way or fall asleep meant that he was going to come early. I was really scared and not sure what to think at that time. I know that babies born at 32 weeks have a really good survival rate, but what kinds of physical problems would he have? Also I knew that having Ethan and Isabella at home would make it pretty hard to be able to go spend time in the NICU to see a little baby all the time. Thankfully, he was born able to breathe on his own and so far has no problems at all except for the fact that he is tiny and can't feed himself. So...if nothing goes wrong I am starting a countdown to when he would have come home and that will be my starting point as to how many days he has left in the NICU.
