Getting ready to eat

Here's a video of what we do when we get ready to feed Gabriel. I know it looks scary because of all the wires, and yes...it takes me forever to take his temperature and change his diaper. I am still a newbie when it comes to that. Anyways, first we take his temperature, then we change his diaper, then the nurse will come over and weigh him and listen to his lungs/heart. The wires are not intrusive...just two heart monitors taped onto his chest and one oxygen monitor taped to his foot. Oh and of course his feeding tube taped to his face. Unfortunately he lost weight, he was 3.9-7 yesterday and tonight he was 3.9-4. The nurse said that happens when they are under the lights (for jaundice) because they are naked and tend to move around more. He should be off the lights by morning, and start gaining weight again. As you can see, he really doesn't look yellow at all so that's another plus!
