Well, apparantly Gabriel was not doing so well inside of me, and the doctors decided it would be better if he came out early. He was born April 16, 11:56 pm, weighed 3.14 pounds and was 17 inches long. He is doing fantastic, never needed oxygen or anything. The nurse was joking that he is just on the feed and grow system. They feed him my breastmilk with the tube that goes into his nose and down into his belly, and they are just waiting for him to grow. More than likely we will be able to bring him home close to the end of May when his due date would have been anyway. We just need him to grow and be able to eat on his own. In this picture you can kind of see just how small he is compared to my hands. His head is teeny tiny.
