Just a quick update. Gabriel gained two ounces yesterday after losing about half an ounce over 2 days. Hopefully tonight he will have gained another 2 ounces and be almost back to his birthweight. Also, if his temperature is still stable when she checks him again at 2pm, they are moving him from his isolette to an open "tub". (those plastic bed things that are open on top) Now we just need him to keep gaining weight and to start taking his food from the bottle and not the tube.
I know this looks funny with my shirt up, but its called kangaroo care. He sits on my chest with skin to skin contact and the babies just love it.
