Sick Baby

Gabriel is sick for the first time ever, and it made me realize somethings. First, all three of our kids have been sick on their first birthdays. Second, I am reminded of how much it sucks to have a sick baby and not be able to do anything for them. He woke up with his poor eyelashes stuck together from so much goop, coughing and conjested. He falls asleep nursing, but wakes up shortly after because he can't breathe. He is so tired, and I am so tired, and he just cries and cries. I found during the day the only way to have him nap was to put him on my back and walk around, but at night he just cries and cries next to me on the bed. Some one needs to create a cure for the common cold for babies, or at least make some good medicines that will actually work for them.
