There is something extremely satisfying about tackling a messy spot and making it neat and organized. I have decided that this is the year to get organized, one space at a time. The hall closet is a smorgasborg of stuff. Everything that didn't have a home got thrown in there, and every few months I would tidy it up only to have it get messy within a week. Part of the problem is that the little helpers love to take things out and not put them back where they belong. My solution hopefully is containers and the will to not let this mess happen again.
So our hall closet went from this:

To this:

Top shelves:games, second shelf photo albums and craft/idea binders

This method will help with unnessecary spending as well. Take a closer look and you will see we have an entire container of Elmers glue (that's about 8 bottles)

That pink hanging thing to the left is a for shoes, but it works perfectly for things we always use like scissors, tape, pencils, etc.

Wow! What a change! That looks great, but what do you use the coffee filters for?
We use them for art projects! They make beautiful snowflakes.
