Isabella is in the hospital right now. She started vomiting Tuesday overnight, and has not been able to keep anything down since then. Yesterday afternoon I was worried about dehydration because she was refusing to drink, so we took her to the ER. Turns out she was dehydrated, but when the blood test came back she was jaundiced, so they took more tests and we found out she has pancreatitis. We were transferred to the hospital in Stockton because unfortunately this Kaiser in town doesn't have a Ped unit yet (argh). I feel so bad for her, because the only cure is to not eat until the inflammation goes away. Hopefully after her blood test in the morning she will get the green light for jello. Unfortunately, the doctor thinks she had a gallstone that caused this, her gallbladder is enlarged and her spleen is enlarged. She is also anemic, but not from iron deficiency. We are heading to Sac to see a Hematologist in a few weeks because he thinks she has a blood disorder that is causing her red blood cells to die prematurely. We are a bit overwhelmed right now because the doctor doesn't really know much as to why she has this, so we don't know why either. I will post more tomorrow after her tests come back, and hopefully have good news that she can eat! (The sooner she can eat and not vomit, the sooner she can come home)
So far this year 3 of us have taken a trip in the ambulance being transferred from our Manteca Kaiser to the Stockton hospital. We're on a roll, but hopefully it will stop and John and Ethan don't get to continue the trend.

You know my prayers and thoughts are with her constantly. I will be at the hospital around 10 or 1030. I have asked God to encamp his angels around her and the entire family.
I love you.
